The Meritorious Service Awards Committee is now accepting nominations for this year’s service awards. The purpose of this award is to recognize those classified staff employees working at Hudson Valley Community College, Capital District Educational Opportunity Center, and the Faculty Student Association who stand out because these individuals not only achieve the objectives and engage in the activities included in their job description, but excel.
Any member of the college community may nominate an eligible employee. The minimum qualifications for nomination are two (2) years of continuous classified staff employment (as of Aug. 31, 2010) and outstanding performance of all job duties. Previous award winners are eligible to receive the award again after two (2) years have passed from the year of the prior award.
Please submit an original, plus eight (8) copies, of your nomination packet to Anne Minehan, AMZ 109, no later than 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010.
